Chapter 78: Problems with Ship No. 105

Chapter 78 The Problem of Ship No. 105

The 105 ship plays an important role in the history of the motherland’s navy.

After the founding of the motherland, when the country was completely destitute, it gritted its teeth and purchased four destroyers from Lao Maozi, which were called the Four King Kongs of the Navy.

Spent 68 tons of gold that year, so the country cannot continue to spend precious gold to purchase warships. It must find a way to develop it on its own.

In 1957, with the efforts of many parties, China obtained some technical design drawings of Lao Maozi’s Type 56 destroyer (NATO code name Kotlin class). The Navy established a research institution and began to discuss the destroyer development plan.

Artillery destroyers have become outdated, and warships from all over the world are carrying missiles. Therefore, the Navy has also begun to plan to develop new guided missile destroyers. After more than ten years of hard work, on December 31, 1971, the first Type 051 ship 105 The ship was officially delivered to the Navy. Since then, the Navy has also had its own guided missile destroyer, and NATO gave it a brigade-level code name.

In the 1980s, the country had opened its doors, and the country also saw that its warships were out of date: in addition to having no air defense capabilities, they also seriously lacked anti-submarine capabilities.

Relying on good relations with the West, the country began to introduce advanced technology to develop itself.

In 1987, the No. 105 ship dismantled one Type 76 58-caliber 130mm double-barreled naval gun, two Type 67 37mm double-barreled naval guns, and two Type 61 25mm double-barreled naval guns on the rear deck, almost completely destroying the rear deck. The decks were cleared, and the space freed up was added to the flight deck and a dedicated helicopter hangar.

The hangar is very large and can accommodate one Super Hornet helicopter and two domestically produced Z-9 helicopters.

In this way, Ship No. 105 became the first domestic warship that can carry helicopters, greatly improving the anti-submarine capabilities of this warship. Therefore, NATO classified this warship into the Luda 2 class, distinguishing it from the ordinary destroyers in front.

During the modification of this warship, special components were imported from abroad: "harpoon" assist landing system; light landing assist system; return navigation guidance system.

In the vast sea, if a helicopter wants to find its own mothership, it must have a special guidance system from returning to landing. This system has gradually matured since World War II, and it has developed even more now. Ordinary technology, however, can only be outsourced if it is started from scratch domestically.

After this homing guidance system was introduced from France, it was debugged by the French. There seemed to be no problems at the time, but after the French left, the system began to malfunction.

When landing, you can always hear a roaring noise, and even when docking occasionally, the docking will be unstable.

If you invite the French over again, it will cost a lot, and the French will even make excuses like the Belgians, so you can only solve it by yourself.

No. 105 belongs to the North Sea Fleet, so at the beginning, it was debugged by specialized technicians in the north. After struggling for a long time without solving the problem, we moved to Huating, hoping that the technicians here could help solve it.

However, the team who is proficient in electronic technology has been struggling for several months and has not been able to solve the problem until now.

This matter has nothing to do with Qin Tao, nor does it have anything to do with Zhao Dagang and his team, but after all, they are in the same system. They have heard about it a long time ago, so now they take advantage of this opportunity to raise it with Qin Tao .

Although Xu Qiang was trying to make things difficult, Qin Tao still nodded in agreement.

Qin Tao left Kamaz with Huating Shipyard, and they would help go to the reducer factory to rush the goods. If the machine was built, they would help load the goods into the car and drive back.

Cong Ju also stayed at the shipyard. She couldn't help anyway, so she took this opportunity to go home and have a look.

Zhao Dagang, Zhao Ergang and Xu Qiang sat in the back, and Zhao Ling got in the passenger seat.

Seeing Zhao Ling and Qin Tao sitting in a row, Xu Qiang felt a little dissatisfied, but this arrangement was necessary. After all, among them, only Qin Tao could drive, even if it was the bench seat in front of Old Shanghai It can seat three people, but it's quite crowded.

Qin Tao drove, and the only woman sat in the passenger seat. This was the most appropriate, just like when they came.

"Brother Tao, after you go there, don't be brave. It's your ability to fix it. If it can't be fixed, that's normal. So many technicians haven't fixed it. This fault may not be solved at all. "Zhao Ling said to Qin Tao.

“Well,” Qin Tao replied, “Maybe it’s just a small problem that I can fix easily. I’ve always been very lucky.”

Of course I was lucky. After drinking, I was still able to drive, and no one stopped me along the way.

This is of course because he took the special internal road of the shipyard, which can lead to the dock on the other side of the military port. Moreover, in this era, there is no investigation of drunk driving at all.

The girl next to him showed a smile. Maybe Qin Tao can really fix it. This Xu Qiang wants to see Brother Tao's good show, so let him be completely convinced.

Zhao Ling knew that Xu Qiang's attitude might be because of herself. Thinking of this, she glanced at Qin Tao who was driving next to her. Thinking of the experience of going to Lao Maozi's place, her face suddenly turned red again.

This is fate.

The car drove onto the naval port. The masts of the warships were standing there. It looked quite spectacular, but if compared with Lao Maozi's Pacific Fleet base, it was far behind.

The main warship is the Type 051, with a displacement of more than 3,000 tons. In another twenty years, the Type 054 frigate will already have a displacement of more than 4,000 tons.

The current navy is still quite hard-working and has to be patient.

The car stopped at the dock where the 105 destroyer was docked. At this time, a group of experts were still studying on the rear deck.

The Chinese New Year is about to come, and if they can't eliminate the fault, the new year will be boring.

A gray-haired old man stood at the top of the hangar, staring blankly at the equipment above. The cold wind blew on him and ruffled the corners of his clothes, but he was completely unaware of it.

“Professor Ding, it’s windy above, please come down first!” Someone shouted from below. He wore a naval officer's uniform, with the rank of colonel on his shoulders.

“Captain Wang, I’m wondering if there is something wrong with the hardware of the equipment. Should we take it apart and take a look?” Professor Ding said.

After debugging for such a long time, the problem could not be solved. There was nothing to worry about in the software. Professor Ding finally decided to start with the hardware.

“The hardware was imported from France and has never been dismantled. Ordinarily it shouldn’t be a hardware problem.” Wang Qing, the captain of the 105th ship, said: “You can come down first!”

“Imported ones may not have any problems.” At this moment, a voice came from the other side of the dock: “Maybe it’s really a hardware problem?”

The people on the warship turned around and saw a few people they had never seen before, and the one who spoke was a young man.
