Postscript
Finally wrote the whole book again.
Maybe this is the shortest postscript, because I feel that what I want to say has been said in "Summary of the Year (behind Chapter 722 and "New Year's Letter to Book Friends (behind Chapter 786, so there is no need to go into details.
As stated in the letter, it is July now, and based on the time it took to play the first post of "Ravage Korean Entertainment", it happens to be the tenth anniversary of Ji Cha's writing. This ending is the best tenth anniversary.
Thank you all very much for accompanying me for these ten years.
Wrath, Light and Shadow, Spring and Autumn, Questioning, Planet, Heroine, and Troubled Times, seven books in ten years, with nearly 15 million words.
The Book of Troubled Times is the longest one among all the works. Although 3 million words is not long for an online article, I personally feel that it is too long to write. My health is indeed not very good now, and I am really exhausted in the later stages. On the day of success, I just want to rest and lie down on the bed without thinking about anything.
Regardless of what I say, every time I finish writing a happy ending, I feel an unparalleled sense of satisfaction, just like a well-polished handicraft displayed in the house for inspection. The book of troubled times is put away, recording the completion of one and a half years of hard work.
As for what I want to write, I have basically expressed it. The long river falls through the nine heavens and converges into this world. The growth and changes in the past and future are divided into multiple stages, which should be reflected more clearly. The entire process from the rivers and lakes to the world to gods and demons to breaking the world is also gradual and complete. The heroines also have their own styles, and that's enough.
Many people are guessing whether they have traveled back in time to live life, which seems to be my favorite way of writing... In fact, the text of this book contains a sentence from time to time, "Zhao Changhe does not want to interfere with the past", just to contrast with the common elements in the past. A distinction should be made so as not to leave too deep a mark. When I read Ji Cha’s book, I feel like I have guessed everything, which is unnecessary. Just guess that I won't feed everyone poison, and leave the rest to me.
However, due to the limitations of the harem, the original idea of mainly highlighting the male protagonist is still a bit wrong. With more people, the performance must be equally divided among the female protagonists, and the male protagonist will not be as prominent as in the previous period. There's really nothing we can do about it, but maybe readers who have watched the harem will like it more, but I can't say whether it's good or bad.
In the end, the price did not go up or down, and it was still around 73,000. It is very satisfying, and it proves that most readers are also satisfied.
I’m so grateful that everyone likes them as much as I do. Thinking back, I might as well mention one thing, don’t be too harsh on the brothers who ask for male characters. More words and inks in harem novels must be given to the female protagonists no matter what. How can we allocate so much words to male characters... We all also work hard to create more than a dozen characters. Personal characters, creating male characters is not more noble than creating female characters.
Besides, our male characters are never any worse than other male characters. There can be several Lin Wuya, several Li Qinglin, and several Han Wubing, Tang Buqi and Lie who write about men. I think even these simple supporting characters in Xue Canghai's King's Way left a deep impression on people.
At least I like them myself.
No more to say.
When thinking about the next book, I may plan to lower the world intensity a little. The feeling of medium-low martial arts or medium-low mystery will be more interesting, like the first half of the Book of Troubled Times or Spring and Autumn... At least people are difficult to find, and they will not be instantaneous. To; secret plots must be guarded against and cannot be swept away by divine thoughts. It might be more interesting that way... I haven’t thought about the specific story yet, I’ll talk about it after a break.
By the way, next I will spend a certain amount of time to help my dead head finish the sequel to "Star Media Helmsman". Although the plan does not have many words, but with rest and recharging, my next book will be at least half a year away.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone for your continued support and for never giving up when updating La Kua. I also apologize to everyone for this.
I hope that after the break, I can provide you with more exciting content and more consistent updates next time. See you in the next one.
—If I have the strength, I hope to fight for another ten years.
