Chapter 432 Sister and Sister
“Are you still going to sell that formula in the end?”
In Mrs. Puddifu's teahouse, Isobel held her chin in one hand and nonchalantly stirred the milk tea in the cup with a spoon in the other hand. She stared at her boyfriend in front of her with a smile and asked, "Do you think it can succeed?"
"I don't know." Albert took a sip of milk tea and said calmly, "The best you can do. After all, the teahouse is really busy today!"
“After all, yesterday was Valentine’s Day.”
“Yes, yesterday was Valentine’s Day!” Albert took a deep look at his girlfriend. He still remembered that Isobel specially prepared Valentine’s Day chocolates for himself last year, so he simply skipped it this year.
“Some things are more intoxicating than chocolate, aren’t they?” Isobel seemed to see through Albert’s thoughts, smiling and looking in a certain direction.
Albert followed Isobel's gaze to the couple kissing at the next table, and instantly understood what she meant.
Before Albert could speak, the door of Mrs. Puddieff's teahouse was pushed open. Kenneth Toller looked around and walked towards Albert.
“You’re early.”
Albert took out his pocket watch from his pocket, glanced at the time on it and said to the visitor.
“I’m really sorry to disturb your date.”
Kenneth Toler's eyes moved back and forth between the two of them, and a meaningful smile suddenly appeared at the corner of his mouth.
As soon as he sat down next to Albert, Albert and Isobel moved their gazes to Kenneth Toller at the same time. The smile on the latter's face froze for an instant, and he suddenly felt a trace of Inexplicable discomfort. He stood up again and said with a smile: "I'd better come over later."
Of course Kenneth Toller could see the disgust in the eyes of the two of them. After all, no one wanted to be disturbed during the date, and it was still half an hour before the appointed time, so staying here seemed too intrusive. .
Kenneth Toller left wisely.
“What is he doing here?” Isobel asked, taking a sip of milk tea.
“Kenneth Toller is kind of the middleman,” Albert said casually.
The two chatted for a while. Albert noticed that Isobel suddenly looked out the window and extended her hand to wave outside. He turned his head suspiciously and saw Katrina floating past the teahouse like a wandering spirit.
Seeing Albert's slightly raised eyebrows, Isobel explained: "I asked Katrina to come here. She has been under a lot of academic pressure recently."
"I once suggested that she give up a few courses and change to a normal course schedule." Albert said lightly. Katrina chose twelve courses, and it was completely normal for her to be stressed.
“She just didn’t have the right mentality and needed guidance from others.” Isobel sighed softly, staring straight at Albert, and suddenly stopped talking.
"You are a good sister who cares about your sister." Albert understood what Isobel meant, thought of his sister, and couldn't help but sigh.
If it were you, you would probably do the same thing.
“Albert really understands me, I remember you also have a sister!” Isobel said with a smile.
"Yes, sister who is not worried." Albert glanced at Katrina walking towards this side and said, "You look very tired. It's best to use the converter properly. Sit down and drink whatever you want. My treat."
“It should be that the converter is used too frequently.” Isobel said to Katrina. “Don’t save money for him. Order the most expensive one. He will be rich soon anyway.”
Katrina was still in a daze and didn't understand what was going on.
She thought that all the men and women who came to the teahouse were dating.
Albert shook his head and said, "I think she should be very tired of studying, so she feels very tired."
It was like this when I was learning English in my previous life.
Katrina looked at the two people talking to each other, and she didn't know what to say.
"My advice remains the same. Give up some courses that you don't like very much. There is no need to live so tiringly as a human being." Albert suggested while drinking milk tea.
Katrina didn't say anything, just quietly drank the milk tea that Isobel ordered for her, and listened to the conversation between the two. Her mind was still blank, and she hadn't yet figured out what Isobel had asked her to do here.
Are you listening to them nagging?
Or is it that Isobel wants Albert to convince her to give up a few classes and return to her normal schedule?
In short, Katrina, whose mind was blank, suddenly asked: "Are you dating?"
Both of them were stunned for a moment, and the atmosphere at the scene suddenly became a little weird.
“Sorry to disturb you.” Katrina stood up to leave, but was pulled back by Isobel.
“Eat some sweets, you will feel better.” Isobel sighed and ordered a cake for her.
Not only is it bad, she looks like she could collapse at any moment.
Albert looked at Katrina's situation and couldn't help but shook his head in his mind.
"You should make good use of the time turner." Albert reminded, "Don't always use it to catch up on classes and do homework. Taking twelve classes is already stressful enough. You should learn how to make it easier." Relax yourself and take a proper rest, instead of doing homework all the time and making yourself like this."
“Are you preaching to me?” Katrina said impatiently, but Isobel blocked her mouth with cake.
“I am passing on my experience to you.” Albert looked at Isobel who was about to feed Katrina without any doubt.
“Don’t be like that,” Katrina complained angrily, “don’t treat me like a child.”
“Who told you to always worry me?” Isobel put the cake on the fork into her mouth, looked at Katrina with a smile and asked, “Do you feel better?”
“I didn’t.” Katrina couldn’t help but protest.
"If you are really tired, you should take a good rest and don't get yourself into this situation." Isobel said, "I often see Albert sleeping in the Room of Requirement."
“I’m just taking a short break,” Albert corrected.
“Okay, let’s take a short rest.” Isobel raised her lips happily and said, “Then we can rest together, drink tea and have desserts.”
“You’re not afraid of getting fat early.” Katrina said angrily.
“I spend time exercising.” Isobel said without thinking.
While Katrina was stunned, she heard Albert muttering to himself: It was almost time.
"When is it almost time?" Before Katrina could react, she saw an attractive woman in her thirties walking into the teahouse, accompanied by a boy she didn't recognize.
