Chapter 177 A bunch of things
By the end of class, everyone was covered in dirt, their faces looked exhausted, and they looked like they had just done hard work. When they returned to the castle, took a shower, changed into robes, and then hurried to the Transfiguration class, the Gryffindor students were collectively late due to the rush of time.
Professor McGonagall's face was not pretty. After hearing the explanation, his face became better, but he still deducted five points from the Gryffindor student.
In the Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall asked everyone to review important knowledge points from last semester. They needed to turn a beetle into a button.
Compared to the exam that turned the mouse into an ashtray at the end of last semester, this is actually not that difficult. However, most students are unable to do it. Perhaps, after a summer vacation, this part of the knowledge has also gone out for the summer vacation, and it has not yet returned to their heads.
Lee Jordan's beetle ran all over the table and accidentally fell to the ground. Albert crushed it and had to go get another one. Professor McGonagall was not very happy.
Albert became the most laid-back student of the Transfiguration Spell again. He easily turned a beetle into an exquisite silver buckle, and Professor McGonagall gave him five points for this.
"I don't want you to give me back the knowledge you learned last semester just after your summer vacation." Professor McGonagall stared at Fred sternly and warned: "Mr. Weasley, if you continue to torture That poor beetle, I'll put you in confinement."
“Professor, we cannot use magic during the summer vacation.”
"I didn't expect you to come up with any better insights, Miss Ford." The poor Gryffindor girl had already put her neck back before Professor McGonagall's stern eyes glanced over. "I hope you will take the time to review it carefully. So as not to be unable to keep up with the progress of the upcoming courses.”
“You should know that Transfiguration is difficult. If you want to achieve good results in this area, you’d better put in more effort.”
“I know.” Everyone said in unison.
How much they actually knew is unknown.
Before get out of class ended, Professor McGonagall stopped Albert and told him that there was a Transfiguration Club meeting that evening.
Of course, as Albert expected, Katrina McDoug was also invited to the Transfiguration Club. She was one of the few students in the same class who was talented in the Transfiguration Art.
"If you don't know the specific location of Classroom 21, you can ask Mr. Anderson." Professor McGonagall said to Katrina.
“Congratulations.” Albert said to Katrina after Professor McGonagall left.
"It's expected, isn't it?" Katrina raised her chin and asked, "I'm ready. When are you free, we can continue our bet from last semester."
“Don’t you need to prepare any more?”
"Have you forgotten, or are you trying to...cheat?" Katrina looked at Albert with a careful look, trying to make sure that Albert was playing tricks on her.
"Oh, of course not. It's just that I've been a little busy recently. How about taking a weekend?" Albert thought briefly and said, "I need to prepare. The ten questions are a bit difficult for me."
"Do you think I will believe it?" Katrina said in a weird tone, "It is rumored that Albert Anderson is a liar. Five out of ten sentences he said are false, three sentences are nonsense, and two sentences are false. it is true."
"Who said that?" Albert said dissatisfied, "I am obviously an honest person, but there are still people who would call me a liar."
"Who knows." Katrina brought the topic back and said to Albert, "Remember to prepare ten galleons, and don't say you don't have any galleons when the time comes?"
"Don't worry, I'm definitely richer than you." Albert smiled, "By the way, do you know where the Transfiguration Club meets?"
"Know."
“Do you know the conventions of the Transfiguration Club?” Albert asked again.
“What is the convention?”
“Use the Transformation Spell to transform yourself into a chair.” Albert reminded kindly, “If you have time, remember to take the time to practice, otherwise you won’t be able to transform into a chair, but it will become a joke.”
"It's very simple." Katrina couldn't help but raise her eyebrows, obviously not very clear about this matter.
"That's it. If you don't understand, you can ask Isobel. She is also a member of the Transfiguration Club." After Albert finished speaking, he was about to leave.
"Of course I know, Isobel is still a member of the Charms Club." Katrina asked in confusion, "By the way, Professor Flitwick didn't invite you to join his Charms Club?"
“Not yet.”
“That’s weird,” Katrina muttered. In fact, Katrina has already received an invitation from Professor Flitwick.
To a certain extent, Katrina can be considered a genius, but she is only a weakened version of Isobel. This unfortunate sister still cannot escape the brilliance of her genius sister.
"Maybe..." Albert suddenly said, "...it's because we haven't taken the Charms class yet."
"You...hum, of course I know." Katrina snorted dissatisfied, turned and left.
Looking at Katrina's leaving back, Albert couldn't help but shake his head, and immediately quickened his pace, heading to the auditorium to meet his roommates and have lunch together.
When Albert entered the auditorium, Fred and George didn't know what they were discussing, and Lee Jordan handed over a piece of parchment.
“Give it to me?” Albert reached out and took the note handed to him by Lee Jordan, and asked doubtfully: “Who gave it to me?”
“The other party said it was Principal Dumbledore.” Lee Jordan was also curious about why the principal gave Albert the note.
"Principal?" Albert opened the note directly and glanced at the content on it.
Dear Albert:
I hope to invite you to the principal's office for a cup of evening tea at seven o'clock tonight.
Yours faithfully
Albus Dumbledore
Also: I like mead.
“What does Dumbledore want from you?” Fred asked doubtfully.
"Tea?" The three of them came over to read it, all looking confused. They couldn't figure out what the principal wanted to ask Albert for tea.
“Strange?” Albert asked back.
“It doesn’t seem strange to you.” George said.
Last semester, Professor Broad often invited Albert to the office to drink tea, play chess and chat.
"But, what happened today, how did everything come together." Albert could naturally guess what Dumbledore wanted to do with him.
By the way, is Huttok Dagworth planning to get the gold card back from him through Dumbledore?
Albert found this very interesting. He didn't think Principal Dumbledore would let him hand over the gold card.
At least, Albert's first impression of Dumbledore was not bad.
“What should we do about Quidditch player selection?” Fred suddenly asked.
"I can only say sorry to Charlie." Albert looked helpless and depressed, "The Transfiguration Club is also meeting at this time, why are everything crowded together."
"You've worked hard enough!" Lee Jordan looked at Albert with sympathy. When he saw the other person getting up, he asked in confusion, "What are you going to do?"
“Find someone to bring a message to Professor McGonagall.” Albert said and walked to the Ravenclaw table, came to Katrina’s side, and told her about the matter.
Katrina looked at Albert with strange eyes and muttered: "Are you really unreliable?"
"You are the first one to say that I am unreliable." Albert spread his hands and said, "If you don't know where Classroom No. 21 is, I will take you there after lunch."
“Okay!” Katrina really didn’t know. When she said she knew, she actually meant that Isobel knew. However, she did not refuse Albert to lead her.
When Albert returned to the Gryffindor table, he saw Fred talking to Charlie about his affairs.
“Principal Dumbledore wants to have tea with you?” Charlie asked about this with a confused expression.
"Sorry Charlie, I have too many things to do." Albert looked apologetic, "I may also join Professor Flitwick's Charms Club, so I'm sorry about the Quidditch thing, and, I Thought you were Gryffindor's Seeker."
Charlie was stunned for a moment, and forced a smile. He understood the implication of Albert's words, and sighed helplessly, "Okay, I understand, I will reserve the position of the alternate seeker for you."
After speaking, Charlie patted Albert on the shoulder, turned and walked away.
"I didn't expect you to refuse." Lee Jordan looked at Albert in surprise, "I think you are very suitable for the position of seeker, and your flight is so good."
"I can only say that there is nothing we can do about it." Albert spread his hands helplessly and said, "Exercising special privileges will destroy the unity of the team."
“What if the gatherings of the Charms Club and the Transfiguration Club overlap?” Fred asked curiously.
“I’ll tell you then.” Albert was very interested in the Charms Club because he also liked magic that “saves trouble.”
"That's right, you haven't joined the Charms Club yet anyway." George muttered, "By the way, there is such a club in Hogwarts?"
"Yes." Albert nodded, "Actually, there is a Wizarding Card Club in Hogwarts."
“How come I don’t know.” Li Jordan was stunned for a moment, unable to react for a moment.
“Silly, it’s just the four of us.” Fred couldn’t help but cover his face.
“I don’t remember when I joined.” Lee Jordan said.
"Don't you want to? Forget it." Albert asked pretending to be stunned.
“Who said I don’t want to do it anymore? When did we establish this club?” Lee Jordan muttered.
“Just now.”
"just?"
“That’s right, just now.” Fred had an expression on his face that said you didn’t know.
“Just now.” George nodded in agreement.
“What class are you going to have in the afternoon?” Li Jordan quickly changed the topic.
“Defence Against the Dark Arts,” George said immediately. “Don’t change the subject.”
“There’s also a section on History of Magic,” Fred added. “Hopefully the new professor will be as interesting as Professor Broad was last term.
“I remember fighting the Boggart?” Lee Jordan continued.
"Combat, don't you think this word is used inappropriately?" Albert shook his head. "At most, it helps us know how to drive away the Boggart, instead of being scared away or stunned by it."
“You must know how to deal with Boggarts, right.” George suddenly said.
"I know, it's written in the book." Albert said honestly, "The spell is hilarious."
“Tell me, did you swallow the entire book “Dark Powers: A Guide to Self-Defense”?
“You actually found out.” Albert looked at George in pretended surprise.
“A little more sauce, right?” Lee Jordan said with an expression that I knew I should have.
“Don’t steal my lines.” Albert complained dissatisfiedly.
Several people couldn't help laughing when they heard this.
