Chapter 1308: Everyone is making progress

Chapter 1308 Everyone is making progress

Ron's words made Harry and Hermione a little speechless. They had not thought about it, but it did make sense. He did know something about the asylum.

“What did you do with that thing?”

Harry asked a little confused when he saw Ron stuffing the box by the fireplace into his bag.

With Ron's attitude, those who didn't know it thought he was planning to vacate the place.

"It contains Floo powder. I dare say the fireplace here can definitely connect to other fireplaces through the Floo network." Ron pointed at the fireplace and said, "If we fail to discover them but are exposed by the surrounding warning magic, The other party may summon a bunch of dark wizards through the fireplace to surround us, just like the last encounter between Sirius and Lupine."

"It seems we are lucky." Harry said, gently touching the badge on his chest.

“I have erased their memories.”

Hermione stood up again and motioned to Harry and Ron to move the two of them to their seats, pretending that they were asleep.

"They don't know we've been here. If there are other dark wizards to replace us, they will probably just think they are asleep."

Harry looked at the two unconscious dark wizards and suddenly asked: "If it were Albert, how would he deal with these dark wizards?"

"Probably..." Hermione hesitated for a moment and said, "Let them forget that they are wizards and then send them to a Muggle prison. However, I'm afraid we can't do that now."

“That’s a good idea, at least it will stop those dark wizards from harming others.” Harry agreed with Albert’s approach. If he didn’t choose to kill them, locking them up was undoubtedly the best way.

Harry doesn’t want to kill anyone, but dark wizards are enemies after all, and it’s not possible to just let them go with mercy, so he agrees with Albert’s point of view, at least the enemy must be unable to continue hurting others.

After taking care of the tail, the three of them quietly left through the back door, preparing to determine what the third red dot was.

If they had solved the two people in the room, they would have suspected that it was their accomplice, but now they suspected that it might be a dark creature like a Boggart hiding in someone else's house.

However, they still have to take some time to confirm it so that they can do their own thing after confirming that it is safe.

When the three of them passed by the park, they discovered that the obelisk that was originally engraved with their names had now become statues of the Potter family. The Potters were clinging to each other, with little Harry in her arms.

There is a golden sign next to it that reads:

October 31, 1981

Lily and James Potter died in this village

Their son Harry is the only wizard to survive the Killing Curse.

We commemorate Mr. and Mrs. Porter

And warned of the violence that destroyed their families.

The golden sign is filled with various words, which are the traces left by the wizards who came to pay homage to the "Boy-Who-Lived".

“Let’s go, let’s go and check the situation first.”

Harry reluctantly moved his gaze away from the statue of the Potters and walked in the direction of detecting the fingers of the pocket watch.

Hermione and Ron looked at each other uneasily, and quickly quickened their pace to follow.

Meanwhile, Harry said that he saw an abandoned house and said that it was his home.

"Harry, are you sure there's a house there?" Hermione and Ron followed Harry's gaze, but saw nothing.

Harry turned to look at his companions and asked doubtfully, "Didn't you see?"

“I didn’t see it.” Ron shook his head.

“I know, it’s the Fidelity Charm.” Hermione said suddenly.

"I almost forgot, the house was cast with a Fidelity Charm, and the secret keeper is Peter Pettigrew." Harry nodded and said, "But that guy is dead."

"So, now everyone who knows the secret has become the secret keeper." Hermione reached out and grabbed Harry's hand and said, "You are also the secret keeper there now."

"Oh, I almost forgot about this, the house is over there." Harry pointed to Hermione, "Unfortunately, it was badly damaged and completely abandoned."

After informing Hermione of the location, Harry pointed out the location of the house to Ron.

However, they did not choose to stay there, but planned to continue looking for the red dot on the detection pocket watch.

However, someone seemed to have seen through the disguise of the Disguise Spell on them, and was standing not far away looking at them and waving in this direction.

“The man saw us!”

Hermione clutched the wand in her hand and reminded Harry and Ron uneasily. It is definitely not normal for the other party to be able to see through what they are hiding.

"That man is definitely not a Muggle." Ron had already raised his wand.

"Bathilda Bagshot." Harry suddenly had a bad premonition, his eyes moved to the detection pocket watch in his hand, and then he looked at the old woman in front of him.

“Perhaps, she was struck by the Death Eater’s Imperius Curse.” Ron looked at the old man in front of him and whispered, “But, I think we should be able to subdue her.”

"Don't be stupid Ron, the Imperius Curse cannot be distinguished by the detection pocket watch." Hermione looked at the detection pocket watch in her hand, and she was sure that the red dot was pointing at Bathilda Bagshot in front of her.

"Let's check the situation first. If there is really any danger, we will leave immediately." Harry took the detection pocket watch and glanced at the red dots on it, then raised his feet and followed Bathilda.

After passing several houses, the three of them followed Bathilda into the path and came to the door of her house. It could be seen that her garden had been abandoned for some time.

Bathilda opened the door with the key and invited the three people into the house.

As soon as Harry walked over, he smelled a strange smell. Hermione and Ron next to him also frowned. They both nervously grabbed their wands to be wary of possible attacks from around them.

“Bathilda?” Harry asked, taking off his invisibility cloak.

“Let’s talk after we go in,” Bathilda said to the three of them.

"Harry!" Hermione shook her head at Harry, "We shouldn't take risks, this looks like a trap."

“Hermione’s right, we shouldn’t go in.”

Ron agreed with Hermione, not because he was timid, but because the red dot on the detection pocket watch was right in front of him. It should be said that it pointed at the old man in front of him, not his house.

Moreover, standing at the door, they smelled an unpleasant smell, which was the smell of corruption... In short, Ron didn't want to go inside.

"I know it's rude, but do you mind if we just talk outside?" Harry asked tentatively.

“You are Harry Potter.”

Bathilda did not answer, but turned her head to look at Harry who had taken off his invisibility cloak.

"No, I am not."

Harry met Bathilda's cloudy eyes, and the uncomfortable feeling in his heart became stronger. He couldn't help but push back a step, and reached out to pull Hermione and Ron.

They both heard Harry's words and turned to look over. They didn't know what Harry had discovered, but their past tacit understanding made them raise their wands and point at Bathilda.

“Stand back, get out of here,” Harry said, trembling his lips.

The next moment, Hermione led the two of them away, leaving quite neatly.

A ray of green light passed from the direction they just disappeared and hit the old man at the door.

"It was indeed a trap. I just seemed..." Ron gasped and covered his chest with the hand holding the wand. He seemed to have seen Voldemort just now.

“Hermione, do it again.”

Harry's mind echoed with Voldemort's furious roar.

The next moment, the discomfort of apparition came over again.

Harry gasped and took out the invisibility cloak and put it on himself, and used Apparition again to take the two of them and disappear.

"Can we please stop apparating? I feel like vomiting." Ron couldn't help but retching. He still couldn't adapt to the high-intensity apparation.

“The guy is catching up, going to No. 12 Grimmauld Place.” Harry said.

“Why not go back to the Order of the Phoenix headquarters?” Ron felt that the headquarters was safer.

“No, go to Albert’s asylum.”

Hermione didn't give Ron and Harry time to react, and grabbed the two of them directly to the shelter specially prepared for them by Albert.

“It’s really dirty in here.”

Ron was led into an abandoned building by Hermione and couldn't help complaining, "Are you sure this is a shelter?"

“There is a room here protected by the Fidelity Charm.” Hermione took out the note and handed it to Harry and Ron.

“Why don’t you go back to the Order of the Phoenix headquarters?”

Ron looked at Harry and Hermione with some confusion.

"I'm worried there will be Death Eaters blocking us at the door," Hermione explained.

"right."

Harry also didn't want to take risks. If he hadn't left decisively just now, he would have been blocked by Voldemort. He could still feel Voldemort's anger.

Hermione was right.

Voldemort did intend to do that. If they apparated directly to the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, they might be blocked at the door by Death Eaters.

Ever since Voldemort and the Death Eaters were blasted by Albert through Scrimgeour's blaster, their minds have obviously become smarter than before.

If Albert hadn't specially strengthened Harry, he might have overturned halfway.
