Chapter 1223 Don’t panic
Listening to the mother and daughter discussing how to take care of the children in the future, Albert, as a qualified father, naturally had to listen quietly. Even the house elf temporarily put down the work at hand and sat next to listen carefully. Maybe In the near future, he will also have an additional task of taking care of his little master.
“Mom, have you been like this before?” Katrina asked curiously.
"How can such a good thing happen? I was really in a hurry when I gave birth to Isobel. How can I be as happy as I am now? There is someone here to slowly teach you these precautions." Mrs. McDoug sighed softly.
Similar exchanges have happened frequently recently, and Mrs. McDougal is willing to teach the young couple how to take care of their children.
After the half-hour lecture, the house elf quietly returned to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
The three of them continued to chat about trivial matters in the sunroom. Albert could occasionally learn from Mrs. MacDougall about some of the embarrassing things that happened to the sisters when they were young.
Most of the time, he can always play the role of a listener well.
“She’s kicking me again. She’s such a naughty child.” Isobel touched her belly through her clothes, and the maternal brilliance on her face became more and more obvious.
“Let me hear it.”
Albert put his ear gently against it, but there was no movement.
No, there was movement, but it was not Isobel's belly, but his palms. Just now, Albert felt a stinging pain on the back of his hand, and some red lines resembling blood vessels appeared on his arm, then disappeared.
An inexplicable feeling emerged in my heart.
The contract was touched.
"What's wrong?"
Isobel was keenly aware of Albert's changes.
"nothing."
Albert returned to his original position, picked up the apple on the table and asked, "Do you want to eat an apple?"
As he spoke, he skillfully peeled and cut the apples and placed them on the plate.
“I always feel that it will be difficult to lose weight in the future.”
Isobel picked up a piece of apple distressedly. She was now eating smaller meals more often to supplement nutrition for the child in her belly, and her body was obviously plump.
"It's not a difficult thing. I think except for Tom, it's not difficult for anyone else to lose weight successfully as long as they control their food intake." Albert reached out and stroked the cat. Now that Tom is getting older, he rarely loses weight. Go ahead and mess with it.
“What happened?” Isobel asked suddenly.
Mrs. McDougal and Katrina both turned to look over.
"Well, there's probably something wrong with Mrs. Dale." Albert pulled out his wand, summoned the metal book out of thin air, and opened the map to locate Mrs. Dale's specific location.
"I think... well, the Death Eaters should have captured her."
"You have been doing it very secretly. How did the Death Eaters find out?" Mrs. McDougal was very confused, because Albert left almost no loopholes, and even the Death Eaters would have a hard time contacting them with Albert. It's right to be together.
"This should be an accident." Albert shook his head and said, "There are only two of them in the country. If someone among the Death Eaters guesses that Isobel is pregnant, it would not be surprising that they would capture Mrs. Dale to try their luck."
The three of them were silent.
"Will they die?" Mrs. McDougal suddenly asked, "I remember you signed a magic contract with them and asked them to keep it a secret."
"No, the contract is more of a warning. Revealing secrets is not a big deal. As long as they are not harmful to Isobel and the child in her belly, they will not die suddenly." Albert looked at Mrs. McDougal , comforted softly, "Don't worry, with that contract, their lives are more secure, and I guess the mysterious man will not kill them easily, and will probably use them to do something."
"For example…"
“Murder Isobel,” Albert said lightly.
"I brought them in, and I will be responsible for solving this matter." Albert said confidently, "I'm afraid I have to leave. I will be back for dinner tonight."
“Are you going to catch them?” Katrina couldn’t help but ask.
“No, I’m going to prepare a backup plan and find it from abroad, just in case.”
After saying that, Albert returned to the study, first contacted Bard through the double-sided mirror, and then used Apparition to go to France to meet him in person.
“Although I don’t know what you are planning, I still want to say don’t stay in the UK. It is not safe at all.”
Bard looked at Albert and said seriously, "Go to Spain, Germany or stay in France. I can help you arrange this."
"As long as you can help find a reliable therapist in this area, I will take care of the rest." Albert said without hesitation, "Although it may not come in handy, I must keep some preparation plans in case something goes wrong again. "
“Actually, I don’t understand why you want to get involved.”
From Bard's point of view, as long as Albert is willing, he will never get into the big trouble he is in now. He is now completely targeted by Voldemort. Otherwise, who would do anything wrong in this regard?
This is a deadly feud.
"Why?" Albert thought for a while and replied, "I think it should be the benefits. There are no risks and there are huge benefits. I feel that I have no reason to refuse."
“No risk?”
Bard felt that he had a new understanding of the so-called no risk.
"Okay, I still say what I said, don't risk your life, your life is still long." Bud reached out and patted Albert on the shoulder, and took him to see the French obstetrician therapist.
That was a skinny witch in her fifties. She was not surprised at all when she learned of Albert's intention. Bud had obviously arranged the matter a long time ago.
After a brief exchange, both parties signed a confidential magic contract.
“How much did you spend?” Albert asked curiously.
“Not much, about this amount.” Bud raised a finger.
Albert showed an expression that was indeed true.
There is no other way, who would have trouble living with more money?
“Thank you very much for today. By the way, the UK is not very peaceful this year. Please be safe.”
"I think you should say this to yourself." Bud said again, "Don't worry too much. Living is the most important thing."
"I know."
After saying goodbye to Bard, Albert directly used Apparition to return to England.
He used the Marauder's Map to confirm that Mrs. Dale had gone home and that no one was watching around. Albert was even more sure that the other party must have been controlled by Voldemort using the Imperius Curse.
He did not expect Mrs. Dale and Mrs. Mary to break away from Voldemort's control by their own will. As for using the spell-killing agent to help them, even Albert was not confident that he could do it. After all, the curse was cast by Voldemort.
Even if the two of them really break free from the control of the Imperius Curse, Albert has no intention of continuing to take this risk.
During dinner, Albert informed the three of them of his decision.
“So, are we going to France?” Isobel asked with a frown.
"Well, by the end of May, we will go to France to wait for the birth." Albert nodded, "Arrangements have been made there."
"You just went to France and got all these things done?" Katrina was a little surprised at Albert's efficiency.
“What are you going to do with Dale and Mary?” asked Mrs. MacDougal.
"I will try my best to help them get rid of the control of the Imperius Curse and protect them temporarily." Albert has made arrangements. The Defense Association happens to be short of therapists. Although there may be some professional deviations, they are still therapists after all.
