Chapter 7: survivors in hospital

Obviously, a huge earthquake just happened here!

Sheng Hongye came to the window, his sword-like brows suddenly tightened a bit.

Immediately, he turned his head and glanced at the room, narrowing his long and narrow eyes slightly, with some doubts in them.

Su Ling turned around, just in time to see it, and felt guilty for a while.

Coughed dryly and said, "I'll give the child some medicine first."

Sheng Hongye nodded: "Kaixuan will trouble Ms. Su, I will go out to check the situation, if there is anything, you can call me loudly."

With the strengthened house, Su Ling is not afraid.

Assented, he took out the medicine and gave Gu Kaixuan a bottle of water with ease.

Maybe it was because the anesthetic hadn't worn off yet, so Gu Kaixuan opened his eyes and fell asleep again.

Su Ling opened his eyelids and saw that the pupils could still move, so he sat on the side in peace.

After a while, Sheng Hongye returned with a gloomy expression.

He stood at the door, and the light stretched his figure to a long length, making him look taller and more straight.

"The roads in the town are basically blocked, and only one road is barely passable. The whole town is lifeless, and it seems that there are no survivors."

It was so badly shaken?

Even after experiencing it once, Su Ling's heart still jumped wildly. When he looked out of the window, his belly was already pale, and he realized that he had worked all night.

Sighed silently, and said wearily: "The food in the car is enough for us to eat for a few days, and it happens to be a good time for Kaixuan to recuperate."

Sheng Hongye hummed, turned around and said, "It's still early in the morning, you should sleep for a while, I'll watch over here."

"thank you, I know now."

Su Ling was not pretentious, she responded and lay down on the bed in the middle, tossing and tossing thrillingly all night, only to feel exhausted physically and mentally, and soon fell into a drowsy sleep.

In the room, Sheng Hongye squinted his eyes slightly, and his deep eyes kept turning on Su Ling's delicate face.

Su Ling opened his eyes, it was already dawn.

Gu Kaixuan was leaning against the head of the bed and eating.

Su Ling was startled, and hurriedly sat up.

"Triumph, are you exhausted?"

Gu Kaixuan blinked his big dark eyes and looked at her.

"Auntie, is exhaust a fart?"

Su Ling nodded vigorously. "That's right."

Gu Kaixuan lowered his chubby face in embarrassment.

Said childishly, "I let out several farts in the morning."

Su Ling breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. Where's your uncle?"

Gu Kaixuan picked up the small cup with a straw, took a sip of water and said, "Uncle went out to check the road. He said that there was a big earthquake yesterday, and that we were lucky that the house didn't break down."

Su Ling rolled her eyes. Is that luck? It's her invincible strengthening ability, okay? If she didn't bring this system, the three of them might have been smashed into meatloaf.

But he said with a smile on his mouth: "Yes, we are so lucky, how does Kaixuan feel, does the wound hurt?"

Gu Kaixuan stared at the **** eyes, and said firmly: "It hurts a little, but I can hold it back."

"Triumph is so good."

Su Ling couldn't help stretching out his hand, and rubbed his feather-soft head, and then saw a lot of food on the table, which should have been brought by Sheng Hongye.

She was also a little hungry, went to the bathroom to wash the handles, and opened a bag of bread.

Su Ling was slightly taken aback, and immediately pricked up his ears. After a while, he heard that ethereal voice again. In the silent hospital, this voice was indescribably eerie and frightening.

Sheng Hongye was not there, and Su Ling wanted to go out but was worried about the child.

Gu Kaixuan obviously heard it too, and couldn't help shrinking his neck in horror.

said in a low voice, "Auntie, I heard someone calling for help."

Su Ling nodded.

"Auntie heard it too, but uncle hasn't come back yet, so Auntie can't leave you behind."

Gu Kaixuan took Su Ling's hand excitedly, and whispered, "Auntie, you are so kind."

As soon as the words fell, there was a muffled bang, and the two of them shut their mouths at the same time.

After another long time, footsteps finally sounded in the corridor.

Su Ling hurried to the door, only to see Sheng Hongye walking towards this side with a comatose person in his hand.

Su Ling quickly opened the door. "Mr. Sheng, this is..."

Sheng Hongye put down the man, and said to Su Ling, "He should be a patient in the hospital. His leg was broken. Can you save him?"

Su Ling immediately looked at the man. He was a young man in his twenties. His face was covered with dust and his original appearance could no longer be seen. The only thing that could be confirmed was that his right leg had been severely deformed, with a large blood.

Recalling the horror of zombies, Su Ling hesitated for a moment, turned his eyes around the boy, and then looked at Sheng Hongye.

"Mr. Sheng, have you checked his wound?"

Sheng Hongye quickly understood what Su Ling meant and nodded.

"Can be cured."

"Then carry it to the operating room, I'll try."

Sheng Hongye frowned, his eyes gloomy.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to enter the operating room for the time being. Except for our ward, the whole building has collapsed."

It was only then that Su Ling remembered the earthquake last night. The corridor now is indeed a mess, twisted into a mess, it can no longer be called a corridor.

"Then what to do?"

Since everything has collapsed, it seems impossible to find the operating room.

"In the bag I carried back yesterday, there are some surgical equipment and anesthetics, Miss Su can try."

Seeing that the child's face became paler and paler, Su Ling was also a little anxious.

"Okay, can you still find a clean room?"

Sheng Hongye pointed behind him. "Just in the Triumph Room."

Su Ling didn't delay any longer, and quickly turned around and opened the door.

Sheng Hongye had already walked in first, and told Gu Kaixuan: "Close your eyes and don't look."

Gu Kaixuan obediently turned his small face aside, and closed his small eyes tightly.

Su Ling looked at the child helplessly, then tore off the boy's trousers, and saw that the boy's calf bone had been pierced through the flesh, protruding from the side of the leg. Even Su Ling, who often saw blood, couldn't help but shudder.

She took a deep breath, but her voice trembled a little.

"I'm not an orthopedic surgeon, so I can only do my best. Please, Mr. Sheng, help me find a fixed bracket."

Sheng Hongye seemed to be used to it, frowned slightly, and replied: "Okay, I'll look for it."

After he left, Su Ling estimated the boy's weight and height, injected him with an appropriate amount of anesthetic, and then carefully recalled the bone-setting method in the book.

Three minutes later, Su Ling moved again, carefully cut open the flesh, put the boy's bones back in place, and then stitched them up.

After finishing all this work, he realized that Sheng Hongye had returned.
